I had the best latte and almond croissant I've had in a long time! They have a wonderful selection of syrups - I got their featured vanilla rose latte and wasn't disappointed. As a big fan of Bouchon's almond croissants I had high hopes for their version as they said it was a customer favorite, and Coffee Works is arguably better even though Bouchon has a Michelin-rated chef. The workers are so friendly and the area is so great to have a sip on the porch, and plenty of workspace on the inside. Highly recommend!!!

Coffee Works is such a gift to East Sac! The coffee is great, as are all of the freshly-baked pastries, sandwiches, black bean and breakfast burritos! Friendly service and such a warm environment!

Great find. It certainly is bigger on the inside that first appears so lots of seating. Enjoy the tables outside in this great weather! 24 oz iced green tea is just right mild for me. Love they have breakfast and lunch options. Ham and Swiss croissant was tasty and filling. They have a roaster on the premises. Parking on either side of the building as this is in a moderately busy street. Helpful person to help me with selections today.

To the point: * its fine. * coffee is alright. * prices are consistent with other coffee shops. * baked goods are the highlight. * parking is...interesting. Long Version: I have visited this place a few times. The Baristas are cool, helpful, pleasant. A good many places to sit down (inside/outside). Space is clean, all is fine. Now, for the coffee. I have not been blown away by it...(yet?). Maybe I am getting the wrong thing, and I understand decaf, in many places, is an americano style pour over. So I guess I can't knock them for that. Today it did taste like tea-coffee (not sure if that makes sense). I also tried the herb egg and cheese croissant. Solid 6/10. If I didn't eat it there, I would've doctored it up a bit at home. But it was tasty and hit the spot. All in all, go check em out and show support. The lines come in waves, but service is quick. We parked on the other side of the gas station, less hassle. I will return to try their other baked goods.

Nice, chill place. Love their coffee, mochas, sandwiches, pastries and yogurt parfaits. Great service. Friendly. They are patient with all my questions, especially as I learned how to use Apple Pay (so embarrassing, but at the same time they didn't know what I was doing wrong, so all good. ;0)).

I really enjoyed the feel of this place and how welcoming the staff was but the reason this four stars for me is because of the parking and the quality of the coffee was not that great.
